Children’s birthday cakes
A children’s birthday party follows a script of its own, and the cake stands at the centre of it. It must not only taste good, it must be recognised – by a child who knows exactly how their favourite character is supposed to look. So Christoph Hollander builds the cake around the theme rather than the other way round.
A children’s birthday cake lives by its theme: digger, unicorn, fire engine or the favourite character from the nursery. Christoph Hollander models it in fondant, on a sponge the grown-ups at the table are glad to eat too. Baked in Weidling, delivered to Vienna and Klosterneuburg.
